Animation or changing colors for event on event calendar

I’m a long time Rainlendar Pro user, and wondered if it might be possible to setup a color changing animation on events (or anywhere within the application for that matter). I’d like to be able to have the colors change to effect a ‘flash’ or ‘blink’ affect (on off, or bright to dim). And then if that is possible, perhaps a constantly rotating series of colors like Red, White, Blue for holidays, or Red and Green for Christmas, etc.

I’m not a skilled programmer, but can tinker if someone can send me in the correct direction. Thank you in advance for any assistance.

In theory you could create a script which changes the event category periodically and redraws the window but I’m not sure if that would work in practice. Rainlendar isn’t really made in such way that it could display animations.
