Every note saying Default in brackets

There is a similar topic that has a solution, which showed as I was writing this out but the link it shows I cannot access

[Default] appears after all events on calendar

In the display of Events, [Default] appears after each entry. It’s just annoying, because there’s already enough text and since it shows up on each and every entry, it’s redundant. If I edit a given event, I can see the “category” box in the bottom right corner. If I change it to blank and click OK, the [Default] keeps showing up. Same thing happens if I create a new event and make sure that box is blank, so I’m guessing this isn’t where the appended [Default] comes from. How can I get rid of …

“Default” is the name of the calendar.
In Settings → Advanced → Event view, you can untick the option to show the event calendar.

Hi BigMike, thanks for your reply but the only problem is I want to see the event calendar as I usually do.
I have always been able to see the event calendar with my events which is what I want, except now for some reason since installing on my new computer it says default in brackets after every event.

The option will disable the display of the calendar’s name. Give it a try.

I have searched for Settings, but cannot find that.
I can see Manager (no settings option there) or Options menu and there is only General, Calendars, Skins, Hotkeys, or Advanced to choose from. I don’t see settings option anywhere unfortunately.

I went into the Advanced section as you show there and it worked, thanks so much BigMike, that’s been bugging me for ages and its fixed now, cheers
